Kanda Khal is a village in Yamkeshwar Tehsil in the district of Pauri Garhwal in Uttarakhand. It is administered by a Panchayat and is situated 52 Kms away from Pauri, the district headquarters and 57 Kms away from Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand state.

Kanda Khal is situated at 29.5oN 78.75o E and has an elevation of 355 m above the sea level. Rishikesh tehsil and Narendranagar tehsil lies on the north of Kanda Khal and Haridwar tehsil as well as Bahadrabad tehsil lies on the west. The village experiences a moderate as well as pleasant climate.

Rishikesh

Haridwar

Devprayag

It is also a major pilgrim centre for Hindus. It is situated on the confluence of Alaknanda River with Bhagirathi River. The city offers scenic views and has a calm and serene ambience which makes it an ideal place to relax and rejoice. Several temples, peaks, streams, rivers and suspension bridges are the major attractions of Haridwar.

Rajaji National Park

It is situated amidst Motichur Range and China Range. The park is open from 6.00 a.m. to 11.00 am. If the tourists have booked for full day safari, then they can spend up to 1.00 p.m. The timing of the park varies according to the climate. The place is rich in flora and fauna and ideal for the bird watchers. There are several guest houses available here where the tourists can stay comfortably. It is a great place to spend a day here. Lansdowne

It is a beautiful and unspoilt hill station. It is situated at an altitude of 1706 m above the sea level. This place was named after its founder Lord Lansdowne. The pleasant climate of the city attracts tourists from across the country. It is also an ideal place for the honeymooners and is still away from the hustle and bustle of a crowded hill station. The region is covered by thick blue pine and oak forests. The picturesque view of the snow covered peaks, mountains and unpolluted breeze makes this place perfect for eco-tourism.
